I have received my Electrical Engineering Degree (Systems and Applied Informatics Specialization) in 2009 from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, University \u201cPolitehnica\u201d of Bucharest (UPB), Romania. I continued my studies with a PhD in Control Engineering at Sup\u00e9lec (now CentraleSup\u00e9lec), Gif-sur-Yvette, France (2009 &#8211; 2012). For one and a half year I was a postdoctoral researcher within the Chair on Systems Science and the Energetic Challenge &#8211; EDF, \u00c9cole Centrale Paris, France (2013 &#8211; 2014). I am currently an Associate Professor at University Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP, Esisar (\u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure en Syst\u00e8mes Avanc\u00e9s et R\u00e9seaux) within LCIS (Laboratoire de Conception et d\u2019Int\u00e9gration des Syst\u00e8mes) laboratory, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My research interests are multi-disciplinary with a core expertise in control and applied mathematics. They are encompassing constrained optimization-based control (via distributed and decentralized approaches, NMPC and potential field approaches), mixed-integer programming, differential flatness, set-theoretic methods and their application to control and coordination of autonomous (aerial and aquatic) vehicles and energy management of DC microgrids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was born and I did part of my studies in Romania.
